The 2016 edition of the catalogue, entitled “Cables for industrial applications” is full of interesting news. Now it is even easier to identify the most suitable product for a particular installation; in fact, via a special idex you can check the European, American and Canadian reference standards that regulate the use of the product for a specific type of installation.  This search directory makes it easier to find the possible areas of installation for a specific family of products and the standards that regulate their installation.

As far as cables designed for data transmission and field buses are concerned, we have provided greater detail on the construction of the product by adding images to show the elements it is made up of.  This new edition of the catalogue also includes a new range of cable glands, both in plastic and metal, with metric thread, PG and NPT, all manufactured and certified to UL and CSA standards.  The traditional cable glands are accompanied by versions with EMC electromagnetic compatibility and ultra-flat ones for applications in the food and beverage industry where there are specific hygiene requirements (and EHEDG certification). Lastly, we have added pressure balancers and drainage elements that make it possible to curb the formation of condensation to guarantee ventilation inside electrical panels, junction boxes and housings in general.
