With more than 500 participants distributed over two days, 7th and 8th February 2017, the tenth edition of “Machines and plants for North America” was brought to conclusion. As always an opportunity for analysis and in-depth research of technical, regulatory and legal issues concerning exports to Canada and United States of America. With the 2017 edition, we focused on the changes brought by the NEC 2017 “National Electrical Code” and studied the wiring requirements on board of machinery according to Canadian regulations CSA C22.1 (CE Code), CSA C22.2 N.210, CSA C22.2 N.301 and American regulation NFPA 79:2015.
The morning convention and the afternoon sessions with their technical workshops have definitely been confirmed as the winning formula adopted by Tekima and AC&E for the past ten years. It was two intense days of sharing opinions and experiences, clarifying regulatory aspects and embrace new solutions.
Many thanks to all the participants for their contribution, to Drew Allen from Grace Engineered Products for having covered safety issues and norm NFPA 70E and to all the speakers involved for the extraordinary work done. We look forward to seeing you all at the next event…
