Our event “Machines and Plants for North America” comes to its 11th edition, once again an opportunity to analyze and deepen the technical and regulatory issues of export with particular focus on the markets of Canada and USA. The event is scheduled for the 7th and 8th February 2018, we will concentrate on the latest developments on the regulations UL 508A, NFPA 79, CSA C22.1 (CE Code), CSA C22.2 N.286 and NFPA 70 (NEC 2017).

9:00 Workshops initialization. 9:15 Digitization and technical solutions for North America. The novelties introduced in the North American market by the new editions of UL 508A Standard Industrial Control Panels and the NFPA 79 “Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery” for the design and construction of industrial machines.
The Canadian QPS Institute presents the novelties introduced by the 2018 edition of CSA C22.1 (CE Code) “Canadian Electrical Code” and the modifications and requirements defined in the 2017 edition of CSA C22.2 No. 286 “Industrial Control Panels and Assemblies “. Machine on-board mechanical and electrical requirements, the differences between “building”, “structure” and “equipment” and focus on NFPA 70 “National Electrical Code” and NFA 79 “Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery” and TMSA and ASME requirements.
Nick Maalouf, CETA advisor group member, introduces CETA Agreements (Canada Europe Trade Agreement) six months after the entry into force; applies to industrial machines destined for Canada? what does the free movement of goods mean according to the agreement?

The location.
As in past editions, the venue of the conference is the “Hotel CÆSIUS Thermæ SPA”, Via Peschiera, 1, 37011 Bardolino (Verona) – Italy. From the Milano-Venezia motorway, exit Peschiera del Garda (12 km from the Hotel Cæsius Thermæ SPA), continue for Bardolino, then take the Cisano exit for about 200 m. The hotel is on the right (about 15 minutes). From the Modena-Brennero motorway, exit Affi (7 km), continue for Cavaion, and on for Bardolino. Once in Bardolino, at the roundabout, turn left to Lazise, and on for 2.5 km – the hotel will be on the left. Verona Villafranca Airport “Valerio Catullo” is about 30 km away, easily connected by the A22 motorway (Modena-Brennero).

* Considering the great success of this event, which has been going on for 11 years, and to ensure that all the companies are really interested in the opportunity to participate, the organization has necessarily introduced rules on the acceptability of registrations.
