Interesting news for our web application, the 2.5 version incorporates the new utility n.9 with which you’ll be able to calculate the size of the raceway (rigid or flexible, metallic or non-metallic) that better meets your needs. You will need to specify which and how many cables you will need to put inside the pipe, the reference standard such as NFPA70 (NEC) NFPA79, and what type of raceway you want to install in order to have the most suitable size, the value of the nominal and effective filling ratio, the raceway’s drawing and the article codes including all fittings and accessories that will be needed for the installation.

Not only that, Solvtek 2.5 has been updated by introducing the new 2015 edition of the standard NFPA79 “Industrial Machinery” and a utility that will allow you to calculate the most suitable cable tie based on the cables’ bundle.
