EAC, the new Russian passport for Tekima cables

On February 15, 2013 the national Russian certification system GOST-R and national Russian technical regulation “On Safety of Machinery Equipment” (Russian government order N 753 of September 15, 2009) were withdrawn. At the same time, the new Customs Union Technical Regulation (CU TR) for most electrical products was enforced in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. All earlier issued GOST R certificates are not valid anymore from March 15, 2015. Now, the new EAC mark must be used.
The Tekima cables have the EAC certificate (mandatory for this type of products) and therefore may present a new updated passport for entry into the markets of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
