Tekima SJOOW and SOOW flexible cords are designed for portable and industrial applications in the North American market, where flexibility, durability, and reliability are essential requirements.
Both cable families feature thermoset insulation and an oil-resistant jacket, making them suitable for use in damp and wet locations. They are available with c(UL)us and CSA approvals.
SJOOW Series 80140 / 80160 | 300 V
For tools, portable equipment, and motors, including applications involving exposure to water. Series 80140 is the standard version, rated at 300 V with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C.
Series 80160 is also available upon request for higher operating temperatures (-50°C to +105°C).
SOOW Series 80120 / 8012S | 600 V
For industrial, control, and signaling applications, including demanding environments and Hazardous Locations Class I and Class II. Rated at 600 V, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +90°C.
Available with up to 60 conductors and conductor sizes up to 2 AWG; offered in both unshielded (Series 80120) and shielded (Series 8012S) versions.
The choice depends primarily on voltage, application and the required level of service.
